Steven DeWitt Perrin Art

Enigma: something that baffles understanding and cannot be explained! This piece is a mix of poetry, doodle art, attractive women, and fragments of songs..using the original white canvas as the background, and markers and acrylics for color. Some would refer to this piece as ‘alternative’; but it is actually a summation of my first year in art college. It incorporates many hidden ‘Easter Eggs’ of personal commentary. If you look closely, you can see that every square inch of the canvas includes phrases, quotes, lyrics, special poetry, or my observations of people and surroundings. Every portion of negative space used is like an individual entry into a journal!
